Review of Wrecked (2010) by Aslyn E — 28 Aug 2011
Bum-numbing film about a guy who wakes up in the woods trapped in a crashed car. He has no idea who he is and is in critical condition instantly reminding me of "buried" (average) and "127 hours" (excellent).
It's all about how he survives and what he learns about himself and previous events but it just so slow. Considering it's just one guy most of the time they could have spiced it up but all happenings just felt dull.
By an hour in I was quickly losing interest but wanted to stick around the see the explain-all ending- it wasn't even that interesting or hard to predict, the ultimate sin for making this a film about self-discovery.
Swiftly deleted from my hard drive after viewing.
