Review of Wrecked (2010) by Shay B — 11 Sep 2011
Guy wakes up in car wreck, doeesn't know how he got there.
The rest of the movie is him grunting, crawling, hallucinating.
I enjoyed a portion where he befriends a stray dog, but that.
Is the most interaction in this movie you will see.
You are lead to believe the story is him trying to remember.
What events led up to the crash while trying to escape from.
The wreckage. But he stays in the car.
Quite awhile and doesn't uncover much. He gets out of the car.
And discovers a little. Then there's an hour left of him.
Trying to get out of the woods. Then, at the end, in a flashback,.
You discover in about a 5 minute span what happened.
The acting was strong, the story was okay, and it wasn't terrible,.
But it was just slow and boring and I'm glad it was so short.
I think the intention might have been to make the viewer feel.
As isolated and disoriented as the character, but it was hard.
To stick with it.
