Would I recommend this to gamers? Yes. Would I recommend this to modern day gamers? Nope. This film is based a lot around arcade games,? Not COD or GTA. But if you are an old school gamer, prepare for a wave of nostalgia. A lot of game jokes as expected. The animation was not unique since they have to remake most of the game characters from there design so people won't go "Hey, who's that blue hedgehog?", but instead, say "that's sonic!". The dialogue was fine and the choice of actors to voice was amazing and fit their role. I would like to see more Nintendo characters but Nintendo are very picky where they place their characters. The puns were cringy but funny. This movie had a good moral and I would also recommend this. I would age this PG for spooky scenes, mild violence and slapstick comedy. There were a few plot holes.
