Review of Wrath of the Titans (2012) by James G — 14 Sep 2012

This movie is a big disappointment for me, especially since I was expecting so little. The first one was ok, and my friend liked it enough that we found the fun to be had in its silliness. But this movie wants to take a much darker tone and be more serious, but it doesn't even try. Yeah the monsters looks cool, but the action scenes showcasing are slow, and unoriginal. That leaves the characters which are just as boring and lifeless as the action scenes. Oh and another part of this movie that is boring and unoriginal is the score, holy crap, it sounds like they just took a bunch of stock audio from the "exciting adventure" folder, and randomly cut it into the movie.

But if your desperately craving some Greek Mythological action, go watch Immortals, or go play God of War 2 HD, or just watch Clash of the Titans again. All are infinitely better alternatives to seeing this movie.
