Review of Wrath of the Titans (2012) by Dave J — 04 Mar 2013
Monday, March 4, 2013(2012) Wrath Of The TitansFANTASY.
Story structure somehow similar to the likes of "Gladiator" and "Kingdom Of Earth" which the main protagonist has the opportunity to stop something until it's too late forcing the main star from his comfort zone. This sequel from the 2010 version- not the one made 1981, stars Sam Worhtington as Perseus who after many years after his wife is dead until he comes across a visit from his father Zeus (Liam Neeson) tries to encourage him to fight along his side with him after hearing about a strong god by the name of Kronus rising from the ground for the intentions of wrecking medieval earth. And the reason does not want to join his father Zeus is so he could look after his only son. But after learning that his father had been captured betrayed by his brother, Ares as well as Hades(Ralph Fiennes) and that the village where he lives in was attacked by some monster- he sets out to do just that. And by putting together the spear of Trium.
Slightly better than let's the 2010 version but not better than let's say Peter Jackson's Lord Of The Ring's trilogy meaning this film is great if people are not consistent with other fantasy films, but because I had seen better why should I even like this.
2 out of 4 stars.
