Review of Would You Rather (2013) by Dillinger P — 27 Jan 2014

This film is a breath of fresh air, in the horror genre. I'll admit prior to going into it, my hopes were not high at all. After a careful selection a group of unfortunate guests with a history are invited to a dinner party with a difference, they soon find themselves brutally pitted against each other in a simple game of would you rather.

The film gets the mix right by continuing to keep you guessing and although violent in content the actual violence is not as graphic, which appears to be a horror staple as of late. its not perfect however, a few characters are completely unlikable in a poorly written way and their is a sub plot with one character that is pointless and takes you completely out of the experience.

I was gripped from start to finish and would happily recommend to horror fans.
