The main villain seems to have absolutely no motive for doing what he's doing, there are plot holes galore, and the whole exposition just seems like a lousy excuse start in on the disturbing violence and have that run the movie, but Would You Rather is good entertainment and I guess that's what fans of movies like this look for.
