Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Dave C — 06 May 2011
Believe it or not Bobcat Goldthwait of all people directed this and...it's actually really funny (and a lot less uncomfortable than his debut film about, um, bestiality)- and Robin Williams, who is hit or miss to me, delivers a low-key brilliant comedic performance.
Dark and hits a nerve about the media and teenage suicide. Yeah, I know not the making of a "comedy" per say, but a sharp movie. Bobcat may be an annoying actor/comic, but I think he has found his niche as a director.
Not for EVERYONE, so please don't hate me if you rent it & hate it.
