Review of World War Z (2013) by Mark O — 30 May 2014
When you leave what makes a zombie movie a zombie movie on the cutting room floor because you want to please that key demographic of 13-17 year olds and give it a PG-13 rating you get a MADE-FOR-TV mini series crammed into one movie.
The editing is beyond obvious.
(example: hand gets chopped off and is cropped out of scene).
Apparently there's 40+ minutes of film that was cut out to achieve the PG-13 rating . Would love to see that put back into the movie and re-released with the original R-rating.
At least there's good acting.
