Review of World War Z (2013) by Nathan W — 16 Jul 2014
Alright as an action movie, but when comparing this film to a classic Romero zombie film, I cannot in good conscience call this a zombie movie. The "zombies" act like a virus themselves, instead biting and moving on rather than feasting on the human they managed to take down themselves.
However, Brad Pitt puts on a great performance, and almost every minute of the movie itself is intense, both when zombies are there and when they're nearby. The ending itself was anti-climactic, but I would gladly watch this again if given the opportunity.
