Review of World War Z (2013) by Brendan W — 26 Jul 2014
One of the few times I have read a book before I watched the movie, not counting when in school. And just like the only other one that comes to mind, Jarhead, the book was amazing and the movie was a disappointment.
If it wasn't suppose to be based on the book then it would be quite a fine zombie movie, but straying so far from the book and from what I have read, the original ending sounds better and would have been closer to the book I believe.
That being said, I hope the alternate ending is on the dvd and can't wait to watch that.
