Review of World War Z (2013) by G.c. G — 18 Aug 2014
I suppose one must suspend logic to enjoy a zombie movie anyway, but in WWZ one must avoid all logical analyses in order to enjoy it, not just of the premise - that a virus can infect and take control of a human in 10 seconds, and then that body will be dead and yet highly functional, apparently forever - but of much of the plot, which requires a constant stream of contrivances to keep the hero alive and successful, and smarter and more important than everyone else.
Nevertheless, an entertaining diversion. The zombies are well done.
