Review of World War Z (2013) by Ezekiel S — 03 Feb 2015
I usually stay well the fuck away from zombie films, I'm not a fan at all. But I actually enjoyed this quite a bit, certainly a lot more than I was expecting. The opening 15 minutes were pretty ridiculous and there are more than a few unintentionally hilarious moments, but the second act really had me interested.
I think the reason I liked this is because it's not a typical zombie movie, where a small group of people are trapped in one location trying to survive - WWZ takes place all around the world. I liked the international feel and visuals and it kept me invested.
The ending was a let down but most ending are these days.
