Review of World War Z (2013) by Tommy H — 20 Apr 2015
Weak character introduction. Boring action. Generic plot full of holes. Betrays the book. No one cares. The only memorable part of the whole movie is when they're in traffic and the motorcycle cop gets blasted by a huge garbage truck, but even that scene is ruined because the truck hits so suddenly in a traffic jam, the truck must have materialized out of thin air.
That's what the whole movie is like. Something kind of cool would happen, but it makes no sense. The story here has been so overused, if a zombie apocalypse ever did break out and I was "The One" who could save humanity I'd kill myself because I'd hate to be so much of a stereotype.
World War Z is just another one star movie with a five star trailer.
