World War Z has a lot of rewarding thrill and an interesting plot, but the story couldn't be more unoriginal and cliched than it was, because of films like the Dawn of the Dead or series like The Walking Dead, which makes this cheap imitation not a waste of time, because of its well acted good suspense scenes, but a predictable and risky approach to the Zombies theme, that in this case wasn't clever enough to raise the bar of its hundreds of predecessors.
