Review of World War Z (2013) by José B — 18 Apr 2014
Honestly, this was not a film that was spoken of highly before I got around to viewing it. The performance by Pitt was decent, as he worked with the character he was given. However this movie must be viewed independantly from the book, which is one glaring weakness of the script.
The CGI was decent, except for the below average quality of the "zombies." World War Z packed plenty of action and meandered through character development, which ended up falling flat. I'm sure many will find it enjoyable, or at least interesting.
Just don't expect Max Brooks zombie masterpiece.
