Aside from the length and the few scenes that pushed the borders of sappiness, I really enjoyed this movie. What Lewis P. and probably many others fail to notice is that Stone isn't trying to capture every aspect of 911, he's just trying to hone in on a very small piece of the event, the true story of these two cops getting rescued.
