Review of World Trade Center (2006) by Scott W — 04 Sep 2009
The 9/11 story almost entirely from the perspective of two Port Authority police officers who were trapped in the rubble of the collapsed WTC and their families anguish as they await news of their fate.
Although this is a great story of personal survival it plays a little like an episode of casualty or ER. I was a little disappointed in the lack of a broader narrative of the day and found it all slightly melodramatic at times.
