Review of World Trade Center (2006) by Mike S — 02 Jun 2010
After a promising start, the buildings came down and the film lost it. It became all about 2 survivors (which is fine, but I wasn't expecting that to be such a big part of the story) and one it did that it felt like a big budget TV movie.
Right in the middle too it got all big on religious imagery and I really lost interest after they started having visions of Jesus.
Not one of Oliver Stones best movies and not one of Nicholas Cage's best either.
With such big source material its a disappointing outcome from what could have been a very good movie.
