Review of World Trade Center (2006) by Lee P — 07 Sep 2009
A potentially interesting premise that never quite delivers. Stone's film follows the experiences of two police officers and their families during the tragic events of September 11th 2001. While we admire the bravey of the people involved, we never really get to know them before the incident, so we don't care about them as much as we should.
The cast are very good, however, and there are some genuinely moving moments.
