Review of World Trade Center (2006) by This G — 20 Jul 2013
On the surface you would be worried that this was just going to be mawkish and sentimental but actually Stone handles the entire film with aplomb. By focusing on the story of two survivors who were buried alive by the towers he succeeds in delivering a personal angle as well as a sense of the general catastrophe of the day.
Even Cage pulls out one of his increasingly rare good performances, very well done.
