Review of World Trade Center (2006) by Pavan R — 18 Sep 2010
Boring... Oliver Stone may have been better off leaving this story alone, and prolly should have concentrated on the conspiracy-laden aspects of 9-11 like what was expected of him. It would have been interesting at least.
There is no offense intended to the horrific ordeal the survivors went through or the heroic efforts of those who pulled them out of the rubble or even the nerve-wracking trial that the families suffered.
If the film does anything but relate the stories of a few who survived, it does manage to convey the naivety turned to shock of that grimmest of days, but any number of straight documentaries on the subject do it a lot better.
