Review of World of Tomorrow (2015) by Nick A — 22 Mar 2016
It's a wonder how a film so short can contain so much. "World of Tomorrow is elegantly simple and sharply focused, even though that focus is extremely broad and is existence itself. Hertzfeldt's film is a variation, albeit an extremely creative one, on the old themes of life and death.
He does this while also beautifully creating allegories for issues and qualities of the digital age. In short, the film is brilliant and this cannot be overstated.
