Review of Working Girl (2009) by Nestor A — 21 Oct 2008
The fashions have dated and the film now feels surprisingly sexist, despite the "girl power" message, but the humour is just as sharp, and the performances are great- especially Sigourney Weaver (much as I love Geena Davis, Sigourney was robbed at the Oscars that year).
Even the normally useless Melanie Griffith pulls off an amiable charm but Joan Cusack steals every scene she's in.
