Review of Woodstock (1970) by Tom B — 15 Feb 2010
I was actually there and I was at the next one in Georgia (Atlanta Pop Festival)it was held at the Middle Georgia Raceway in Macon, July 4, 5 & 6 of the next year. That was a different age and time in the U.
S., the age before "AIDS" and rampant crime. It was the age of PEACE AND LOVE and some of the best damn music ever written. "Rap" was when people got together and talked. No one even heard of "CRACK" unless it was showing out the top of a pair of "hip-hugger jeans".
I'm glad I was there in those times and I'm sorry they are gone but what good memories they provide when I hear a tune from those days. I hope when I'm on my death bed , someone puts a John Lennon tape on, so I can leave this life happy.
