Review of Woodlawn (2015) by Jazzy J — 15 Oct 2015
One of the best Christian films I've seen in quite a while. Non-Christians may (correctly) call it preachy; Christians will likely be delighted (as I was) in its unapologetic message about the One Way that Love Conquers All--.
Racial hatred, fundamental rifts in society, unhealthy sports team rivalries, problems with self worth, literally all things.
EXCELLENT cinematography, especially for a Christian film. Good cast. 70s aesthetic.
Well done. Never have I cared so much about a football film. Demonstrates the fundamental simple yet significant power of the basic gospel to change hearts and lives and communities--while telling a piece or two of history. Bravo.
