Could a movie about what I believe to be the truth, finally get the recognition it deserves? Who would have ever thought that the words, Christian movie and Academy Award, would possibly fit together? Well, no Oscar nod has been given this soon, but I think that the time should very well be in reach. This movie was amazing! The movie Woodlawn to me, lays a true strategy and foundation of how to stand in unity with one another with love and drown out hate. This was achieved by having faith in Jesus Christ. The entire team came to faith in Christ and it totally changed an atmosphere of chaos.

During a time of extremely high racial tension and hatred, their faith kept them strong. Their faith gave them the hope and the strength needed to get through times of great trial. Their faith gave them the ability to be selfless. Their faith allowed them live out loud and shine before others, which left them wanting what they had. Which was making the greatest decision of their lives, trusting their lives in a God whom they believed in.

This faith of theirs brought unity and peace, plus overcame many obstacles by changing hearts. The acting was superb and the storyline was excellent. A real family movie, never a dull moment. I recommend everyone go and see this film, and see why this Jesus strategy works so well. Total victory over adversity fought the right way, on our knees. (A+).
