Review of Won't You Be My Neighbor? (2018) by Brent_Marchant — 08 Jun 2018
An endearing, moving look at the life and career of a children's television innovator whose method, approach and message was deceptively profound while being delivered through amazingly simple means. While there's a slight tendency toward being saccharine encrusted and some slightly sluggish pacing in the first 30 minutes, the overall package is delivered with ample humor, remarkable insights and surprising candor.
A documentary well worth your time from a director who's becoming quite practiced at this form of filmmaking.
