There couldn't have been a more timely movie for these divisive times we live in. Rogers was an ordained minister and a lifelong Republican but always delivered a message of inclusion, empathy and love to the people he cared about most--children.

I have an elevated admiration for this man after watching this movie. All of the things people have said about this film making one weepy eyed are absolutely true. You can't help but react on a visceral level to the genuineness and caring pouring out of this man.
