Mister Rogers growing up was my childhood icon and to many people. Fred wasn't a person that would talk at you but more like talk to you in a very kind and gentle way. His show was beloved by children and adults around the world with his kind heart, generosity and show love to each and everyone he met.
This documentary is an emotional roller coaster that everyone should watch and in today's world we live in, we need Mister Rogers now more then ever. His passing in 2003 was incredibly sad but the quote I will always remember him saying is "I like you just the way you are" and that's something people should always remember.
You can't change who you are because someone else thinks otherwise. Ignore the negativity and keep being you just like Mister Rogers said many years ago.
