Such a lovely movie. so sweet and thoughtful. what a great insight into mr rogers. and what beautiful inspiration of what a person can be. what anyone is capable of being if we listen closely and care for those around us. our impact can be tremendous if we just take the time to listen and care.
Some of the direction in the last half hour was a little all over the place. I thought it was constantly ending for about 30 minutes but it kept going. I wasn't upset it kept going but they just kept leading me astray.
I wish there were more impactful larger stories though. the clip of him talking to congress and teh story about the security guard putting his feet in the pool are internet sensations and I knew those stories all ready. I wanted other good moments. but thats also the point. he was just dedicated to that consistency. it wasn't about big gestures and world changing acts. it was about being there for the little moments too and being there.
