Unlike its documentary cousin, Waiting for Superman, Won't Back Down places less blame on teachers and all of it on teachers' unions; society again gets a pass. The film simplifies the complex educational issue with its pro-charter school/anti-union agenda.
For that reason alone, the score reads Propaganda 1, Entertainment 0.
