Review of Won't Back Down (2014) by Anita M — 28 Sep 2012
Touching story, terrific cast, well worth seeing. The so-called top critics have been appallingly unprofessional in reviewing this film, clearly unable to objectively criticize something that runs counter to their political programming.
Heaven forbid teacher unions should be seen as fallible. The film points out that while unions have helped many good people, they are susceptible to the same failings and corruption of any organization.
I've seen it first hand. These critics never bat an eye when the antagonist is a corporation or religious zealot or military wacko, but putting the union in that roll really has their knickers in a bunch.
