Review of Won't Back Down (2012) by Tonja S — 04 Sep 2012
Won't Back Down sheds light on the problems with the public school system. It's not preachy or overly political. It does make very important points. It's the story of a mother and a teacher who want to create a better learning environment for the school children.
But, are hampered in every way by overblown school board bureaucracies and teacher union leaderships who are more interested in protecting their power than providing quality education. Hopefully, enough people will see this film and begin to examine their own school systems.
