I don't know why critics didn't like this movie. Sure, it wasn't srsbsns or dramatic enough and the happy ending was too easily wrapped up, but it had such a great cast and the story was pretty interesting.
I don't think it was meant to be super serious/dramatic. It was supposed to be about journey, not giving up and hope. Maybe critics just over-thought it.
