Review of Wonderland (2003) by Mark M — 17 Feb 2006
[b][font=Times New Roman][color=yellow]This is a great movie about the crimes and murders revolving around the famous, or infamous, John Holmes. Val Kilmer ?fills the role? of Holmes well, and Kate Bosworth shows some surprising dramatic talent as his drug addicted love. Also, there are some great supporting performances by Lisa Kudrow, Dylan McDermott, and Josh Lucas, among others. The story is played out well, with the crime occurring first, and then each key player tells their own story of what happened. We never really know the truth, but we do find out the outcome of the mystery. It is a great murder mystery that plays out not as a docudrama, but as an account of the events that happened at the Wonderland house.
