Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Cork B — 27 Feb 2018
Probably the best of the new DC superhero movies... there is a bunch of time spent building up the characters and motivations. Characters are well done and decently acted and it was fun to watch.
The final act suffers from DC's 'stuff blows up real good' syndrome, and sure we get it, they are super powerful, but action sequence drags on and on. Also Ares is miscast - it is hard to buy that the God of War is a wimpy Englishman.
