Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Olivier M — 16 Jun 2017
The origin story is very compelling and even raises serious questions about human nature, without pretending to have all the answers, except for the personal answer the main character builds for herself.
Fantastic performance by Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, whose chemistry on screen is filled with subtlety and intelligence. The direction is beautiful, especially the photography (no man's land scene) and battle choreography (beach).
However, like in most of recent DC films, the "big villain" part of the plot and final 10 minutes leave to be desired.
