Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by William James S — 06 Feb 2018

When I was much youger, in my late teen's and early 20's, I was an avid comic book collector. In fact I even worked with a good friend of mine when he started his own comic store. During that time I was never a big DC fan, and always preferred Marvel which is generally still the case. I've never liked Superman and Batman all that much, always leaning towards The X-Men and the like and The Avengers. So, settling into Wonder Woman, I really wasn't that hopeful.

Boy was I wrong! I found this film completely entertaining. I think that Gal Godot may be one of the most beautiful women in cinema today, and thought that she and Kris Pine have great screen chemistry. I think that Patty Jenkins is a fantastic director and that this movie looks amazing with great action set pieces and a terrific supporting cast. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next installment.
