Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Jack D — 12 Jun 2017
Insipid, harmless, and altogether mediocre. Nothing about this film enamored me. It was fine. It lacks the pretentiousness of BvS and the harebrained pacing of Suicide Squad, so perhaps that's the reason why it's been met with such rousing acclaim.
It didn't do anything glaringly stupid. This whole superhero thing is getting truly taxing.
