Read so much about how this movie empowered girls that I was very interested to see it. Every element, in my view, is lacking: writing, acting, special effects...doesn't leave much. Seriously, it's not a very good film.
And it's very sad to me that girls and young women would have, as a role model, such a violent character. Is that what it takes to "catch up" to male roles? Unrestrained violence? It's a sad, sad world, then.
