Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Wl N — 26 Dec 2017

While I appreciate that this is a new direction for the DC universe, I was rather disappointed by this movie. I was excited when I heard that this movie had great reviews, but I don't understand why.

First of all, Diana is supposed to be ending war, but she solves this by killing a bunch of Germans. Yes, massacring Germans might appeal to the general public, especially with a leading female role. But this means that the movie lacked the true, deep, understanding of war I was hoping.

That generally, war isn't black and white. There is no good guys or bad guys. Most of the time, it's just normal people fighting normal people.
