Certainly the best DC adaptation since The Dark Knight, Wonder Woman has lots going for it. Gal Gadot is simply wonderful as Diana Prince and the supporting cast does a great job as well, particularly Chris Pine's Steve Trevor.
However, the film is not quite as bulletproof as many would have you believe. Plot holes, continuity errors, sub-par CGI, and an overuse of slow motion abound. The direction seems to be most to blame here as a lot of the choices by the director seemed either too safe or just poor judgment from the getgo.
Still, the film as a whole is quite enjoyable and I truly want to see more from Gadot as the Princess of Themyscira.
