Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Delaina B — 29 Nov 2017
Different from any other film based on DC Comics, Wonder Woman exemplifies the power one woman can have on the world. Actress Gal Gadot holds the audience's attention and leaves everyone feeling starstruck as she takes on the intense heroic role as Diana, princess of the Amazons, as if she was born to play the part.
Incredibly powerful and thrilling, Gadot exhibits the necessary action for a superhero movie with her swift moves as a young woman warrior in the beginning that gives the audience a look at her childhood life.
This movie stands apart from others because it focuses on her early years when she was surrounded solely by women training for combat without any help from men. Gadot's strengths are then shown again later on when she must fight at war at the side of men, including the spectacular Chris Pine, as they work together in attempts to use their abilities to save the world.
Wonder Woman is an action-packed film and a perfect demonstration of an independent, woman-led superhero movie, even adding some heart-warming and humorous scenes as well leaving the audience eager to see it again.
This movie is inspiring, fast-paced, definitely exceeding expectations and is truly a must-see for anyone.
