Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Lwa313 . — 23 Nov 2017
Possibly the greatest superhero origin film since the original 1978 Superman. Gadot completely dominates her role as the Amazonian goddess princess, while Pine and company give her perfectly interesting allies.
Patty Jenkins directs the action in the most thrilling way possible, with very clear passion and diligence; the 'No Man's Land' sequence alone generates goosebumps like no other film of the genre.
With her instantly iconic theme music, a heartfelt story that examines the wickedness and compassion of humanity, and amazing talent in front of and behind the cameras, 'Wonder Woman' solidifies herself as one of the greatest superheroes to hit the big screen.
