Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Duncantlaw — 02 Jun 2017
This is the best superhero film since Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. The fight scenes are stunning, one of the bests I've seen, and the plot is well thought out and provokes emotion, a superb turn from the DCEU's more recent debacles.
Gal Gadot (act. Wonder Woman) plays the perfect Wonder Woman, with Patty Jenkins (dir.) not overhauling the feminism or 'girl power' forcefully, but Gadot along with the story letting the audience believe themselves and feel the power, compassion and heroism of the Godess of Truth.
