After the first 3 DCEU movies like most DC fans, I was worried and like many others, skeptical of the casting choice. All of the worries have subsided with Wonder Woman. Patty Jenkins is able to succesful juggle different movie genres into one co herant and amazing film. Think part ancient greek epic, romantic comedy, action war movie but it all meshes very well.
Gal Gadot simply kicks ass. Her actions scenes were awesome, Chris Pine does good job of holding his own and not being reduced to a male damsel in distress. Wonder Woman fish out of water and being naive is very much in essence to the comics when she first encounters mans world. Seeing as the screenplay is written by Comic Book Writer who wrote Wonder Woman comics, the faithfulness to source material is evident. A great Super Hero movie that DC needed.
