The first DC film in a while to get an interesting origin story only to ruin it with bad CG and weak character writing. I went into the cinema after hearing glowing reviews and with genuine interest at heart and to begin with was met with a very promising introduction.
Only to be almost instantly faced with jarring CGI moment after jarring CGI moment. At least try to make your ocean scenes look like they were filmed in the ocean if your film budget exceeds an amount of money I will never personally see.
I know the Percy Jackson films display far better choreography and without a doubt a deeper development of characters than a flip flopping of moral compass wherever the wind of the plot may blow. I can only bare to give this film a 4/10.
