Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Kenneth B — 03 Jun 2017
Wonder Woman is a decent origins action film which is quite similar to Captain America in a few aspects but asks more questions and tackles, albeit briefly, themes of gender equality and are humans evils by nature.
The score is decent, some scene changes and shots are dynamic and fluid, whereas others are somewhat strange - e.g. a chase scene through the woods which was shot at a 90 degree angle. It is refreshing for DC to have a decent film after so many disappointments.
Gal Gadot was a great choice of lead.
