Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Jacob M — 03 Jun 2017
Wonder Woman is a triumph! Great characters, writing, and directing all around. Patty Jenkins deserves all the respect in the world for pumping out a great, female lead, superhero film. The "No-man's-land" scene was magnificent.
That alone proved the greatness of Diana Prince. The only flaws I could find, and there are not many, are the cgi looked a bit stale at times and the villain was a bit predictable. Other than that Wonder Woman accomplished the goal that it set out to achieve.
Geoff Johns reign at DC/WB has kicked off to a great start. Let us hope that there is more great films to come from this producer in the very near future. WB/DC has been redeemed, even though I still will defend Man of Steel to the grave.
